Bicycle tour Píšťany lake and the Oparno valley by bike
The short trip around Lake Píšt'any is also suitable for less fit cyclists or for families with children.
Start your trip in Litoměřice, taking the Elbe Cycle Route to Píšt'any, where you can swim in the lake and have a cold drink at the marina. Then hop a ferry to Lovosice to visit the U Zámečku lookout. Take alternate route 2A of the Elbe Cycle Route to the ferry crossing in Malé Žernosky, then continue along cycle route 25 into the picturesque Oparno valley. There is a pretty stretch alongside the Milešovský brook and then you can stop for a bite to eat at Černodolský mlýn. Take the same route back to the ferry in Malé Žernosky, crossing the river to the main fork of the Elbe Cycle Route and continue to Velké Žernosky. Here you can make a short detour to the village and maybe pick up a bottle of the local wine. Then it’s just a short ride back to Litoměřice along the Elbe Cycle Route.
This ride is possible in summer months when ferries are running.

Family winery Mikulenkovi - Velké Žernoseky
Family winery Mikulenkovi is located in the village Velké Žernoseky with great winery tradition.
We have been producing wine since 1990. The winery offers products from our own vineyards, stylish hospitality, themed events, tastings and accommodation in the Aurelius guesthouse, which is part of the winery. Order a tasting experience for your sports group, family, and work team. Combine it with a tour of the vineyard and you will find out … you will than discuss it in the morning over breakfast, for example from homemade eggs or other local ingredients.
The winery is also open to passers-by, tourists, cyclists and wine lovers of any sort. You can enjoy sitting inside in the authentic tasting room and in several open-air courtyards around the winery. They prepare greaved pancakes, homemade bread, greaves spread, bacon dumplings, pancakes and other delicacies for the wine. There is also a small farm near the winery, so we prepare meals from our own resources - a rooster in wine, a duck, a rabbit, etc. Fish and lamb are smoked. There are just too many reasons to visit this winery.
