Milešovka hill with its altitude of 837mts above sea lvl represents the highest hill of České středohoří.
Úštěk is well known for its traditional fair and the town itself is the smallest Czech Urban Preservation Area with beautiful historical centre.
It can be proud of several titles „the best of“ – it is the windiest hill with the highest number of storms in Czech and therefore it‘s called a Thunder hill; the lookout from its top is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Czech republic. Milešovka hill overtops its neighbourhood by a worthy 350mts and therefore offers an ideal panoramic view. Meteorological observatory as a part of Institute of Atmospheric physics ASCR is located on top of the Milešovka hill. National natural preserve Milešovka takes part in an important European environmental system NATURA 2000. After the climbing onto the hilltop you can spend pleasant moments at newly established touristic facility with refreshments, restrooms and many information boards.
