Litoměřice - a town with dozens of monuments, a picturesque historical centre and charming surroundings can offer a lot of activities this weekend (from 16 May)!
The City Information Centre Litoměřice is open until 1 pm on Saturdays. Apart from tourist information, you can also buy many beautiful and useful things with the new logo of the city. The products are now also offered on the e-shop.
If you decide to take a walk through the city, take a stroll through the park, the Mácha Steps and walk up to the Dómský hill. From Saturday, 16 May, the North Bohemian Art Gallery is open - permanent exhibitions of the Gallery and Museum of the Litoměřice Diocese together with the exhibition project of Patrik Habel - Obraz Obrazem. At the same time, the exhibition Shine/Strahlen in the Gothic Twin Gallery will be extended until 31 May 2020. The 1st floor of the exhibition of the Regional Museum Litoměřice is also open .
Tourists who want to explore the surroundings of Litoměřice can choose from a number of peaks.
You can go to the top of Mostná hora, the so-called Mostka, the nearby Radobýl - also popular with Karel Hynek Mácha, or the basalt lookout Kočka, also called Sovice. From Litoměřice it is 4.3 km to Radobýl, 2.5 km to Mostna hora and 4 km to Kočka. On Mostná hora, a garden and kitchen in the restaurant Legenda! All three places have a nice view of Litoměřice.
Refreshments are available in a number of other gardens. Enjoy excellent beer with the Czech Central Highlands regional product certificate at the Bishop's Brewery U sv. Štěpána, where they offer a special menu "Teráska" daily from 11:15 a.m., or go for a good special at the Swan Microbrewery. They have 5 beers on tap and various appetizers to go with the beer. If you go for a walk along the Elbe, don't miss a coffee at the popular Kava s párou.
