There was great interest in the Bohemian Central Highlands and Podřipsko at REGIONTOUR in Brno

After last year's success, the destination of the Bohemian Central Highlands and the Podřipsko region was again presented to visitors in Brno.

The fair attracts hundreds of visitors every year. The same was the case this year. The Destination Agency shared its stand with the city of Děčín, which is an important tourist destination on the Elbe Route, and with the publisher of the Travel Profi magazine. The stand attracted not only a large number of information materials, but also a new design and coffee from the Děčín roastery.

Visitors were mostly interested in practical advice and tips on accommodation, cycling opportunities or tourist destinations around the Elbe Trail, Roudnice nad Labem, Terezín or Litoměřice.

There was a new cycling map of the Elbe Trail and its surroundings, a map of the Podřipsko region, a tourist map of the Bohemian Central Highlands, leaflets with current events and a leaflet with an offer of Czech wine events.

The new map offers cyclists and tourists not only detailed information and markings on the Elbe Trail, but also tips on tourist attractions - towns, viewpoints or historical monuments in the vicinity of the Elbe Trail.

Most of the visitors to the fair were from Moravia, Eastern or Southern Bohemia and Slovakia, and many of them had not yet visited the Bohemian Central Highlands. Materials and practical information were handed out throughout the four days.

From Friday to Sunday, a short knowledge competition with an introduction to the České středohoří destination was held daily during the fair. The prize was always three regional certified products - Fratava wine from the Lobkowicz Chateau Winery, Mazel beer from the Na Rychtě Brewery Hotel and a lavender package from the Židovice Farm.

The agency will also present its new materials at the Holiday World trade fair in Prague from 21 to 24 February 2019.
