The regional brand ČESKÉ STŘEDOHOŘÍ has grown with new members!

A total of six new producers were awarded the České středohoří regional brand for their products.

On Wednesday, December 8, the 14th Certification Committee met to review new applications and renewals. There is a growing interest among producers in obtaining certification for their products - made locally, with as much handwork as possible and using local ingredients.

3 manufacturers have applied for renewal of certification.

All three are established regional producers. Their products are of high quality, in demand and appreciated! This year, Děkan beer won the Golden Beer Seal and 1st place in the category - Pale Lager from a microbrewery at the most prestigious beer festival in the Czech Republic in České Budějovice

Six producers applied for the label.

One by one, they presented all their products and activities, work commitment and enthusiasm to the committee.

Agrokomplex Verneřice

The managing director introduced and showed their organic beef. They raise cattle and process the meat with great love and respect for nature and animals.

Handmade ceramic clay magnets

Mrs. Lašková from Režný Újezd presented. She and her mother prepare each motif, each template by hand, which they then hand stamp into clay, decorate and fire. Magnets with any motif will be processed from 50 pieces.

Mochas and cider from the Wild North

Mr. Ren, the CEO and owner of Kauboy, presented his production of homemade ciders and ciders. The ciders are very delicious, dry and the musts or actually mochats:) fresh and lightly pasteurized to last. Both products are produced in Ústí nad Labem in returnable bottles.

Heavenly treats Porta Bohemica

Mrs. Kudibálová has expanded her portfolio and after Porta Bohemica ice cream, she has also acquired a brand for her delicious homemade marmalades made from local fruits sweetened with panela!

Panela is the sweet, solidified juice of sugar cane and contains 5 times more minerals than brown sugar and 50 times more minerals than white sugar.

Beekeeper Tomáš Lisec from Lovečkovice

Mr. Tomáš Lisec also received the certification for his honey and honey products such as flavoured honeys with lyophilised fruit or pickled nuts in his own honey

Free Farm from Soutok o.p.s. from Ceske Kopiste

It was the last certified body. Established in 2012, the company is a continuation of the agricultural activities previously carried out under the auspices of Camphill Czech Kopysty. It operates on the principle of community life and focuses its activities on biodynamic agriculture, landscape care and agricultural products. It offers vegetables, fruits and herbs in organic quality, as well as its processing. All products are handmade on the farm.
