You can take a guided tour of the city on your phone in two routes or a combination of both. The history of the original Josephine fortress and the tragic events of the Second World War are presented to tourists.
Route 1 - The route prepared by the town presents the history of the creation of the largest fortress of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy.
Route 2 - The Terezín Memorial has prepared a route dedicated to the ghetto, during a walk through the town people will learn basic information and details about life there.
Both itineraries are free for all Czech visitors until the beginning of October and are intended to show the history that is a representation of the great destinies of a small town.

Begin your tour at the Information Centre located in Retranchement V, where there are several amazing exhibitions about the history and origins of the fortress - the Terezín Museum. Book a tour of the underground with period lanterns here!
