The synagogue was built in the years 1791-1794 in the Classicist style. It was later modified and the floor was added. Today, the Rabbinical House presents an exhibition on the history of Jews and education.
Next to the synagogue is the Museum of Historical Postcards, where you can compare what the synagogue looked like throughout history.
