At night, solar-lit panels address, through forty themes, the ways in which energy is used in historical, social, political and technical contexts, and outline their potential impact on our own and future generations.

4. 5. Local Climate and Energy Day
The Local Day for Climate and Energy takes place within the framework of the development of the Action Plan for Sustainable Energy and Climate in Ústí nad Labem. The aim is to propose concrete measures for the city that will help keep the global temperature rise below 1.5 °C, which is the highest ambition of the Paris Agreement.

- 11.00 - 17.00 Information Centre of the City of Ústí nad Labem - screening of short environmental films from the international film festival EKOFILM (Climate Change, Climate Renegades - Life without electricity and running water, The Myth of Recycling, Landscape of Logistics Halls, After Nature, Waste Mafia: Burning Landfills, Silent Threats: Disappearing Soil and Perennials - Beneath the Surface)
- 14.00 - 16.00 Mírové náměstí - Smokeman's educational show with the aim of introducing correct combustion in local heating plants to the general public
6 May Open Day of the Střekov Steam Waterworks from 10.00 to 18.00
Tour of the original technological equipment (standing steam boiler, steam engine, water tanks) with interpretation.
The steam waterworks is located approximately 150 metres from the station building at Ústí nad Labem - Střekov station.
21 May Open Day of the Masaryk Lock and Hydroelectric Power Plant from 9.00 to 16.00
Access to the command and engine room of the weir, the fish passage, the information room, the lock from the gangway and the hydroelectric power station.
5 - 22 May exhibition of selected works of the art competition on the theme of Energy & Civilization
The exhibition will be located on the mezzanine floor of the Ústí nad Labem City Hall and will be accessible during the opening hours of the office.
