After reconstruction from 2012-13, it is part of an important castle complex built during the Renaissance and Baroque era.
The church was established as a private Lutheran chapel of the Virgin Mary for the castle family, the consecration of St. Florian did not happen until the establishment of the Roman Catholic parish Krásné Březno in 1897. The beautiful ribbed net vault in the church cites a hundred-year-old building tradition, while diamond portals are a typical feature of the (not only Saxon) Renaissance; storey emporiums refer to the Lutheran religion of the owners - the Knights of Bünau.
The most valuable part of the furniture is the completely unique original main altar with alabaster reliefs from the beginning of the 17th century, the central motif of the altar is unusually the family tree of Jesus Christ. The original bells from 1601 of incalculable value have not been preserved (the largest was requisitioned for war purposes in 1917, the remaining two disappeared in the late 1990s).
In 2008, the church was declared a national cultural monument, it underwent a complete renovation, and part of it was the creation of new bells. The church is the only accessible building managed by the NPO regional department in Ústí nad Labem. The building is not wheel-chair accessible (5 steps).
