Castles and chateaux open their gates to visitors

Come and visit castles and chateaus in the Bohemian Central Highlands...

The state castles in Ploskovice, Libochovice, Velké Březno, Benešov nad Ploučnicí, as well as the castle with the hidden Lobkowicz castle in Roudnice nad Labem open their chambers on Saturday 5 April.

April opening hours are Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The chateau in Ploskovice attracts visitors with its new interiors as well as the Easter Exhibition and the Easter Chateau Fair. Libochovice Castle is currently undergoing roof repairs, but you can still visit it. It offers a shortened tour and a reduced entrance fee. There will also be an Easter tour for children at the castle. Even the smallest ones will start their season with the event Opening the shutters of Velké Březno Chateau, as well as the Count's Delicacy: Chocolate or the Day of Monuments. Benešov nad Ploučnicí Chateau has also prepared a rich offer of events for this year. You will not miss the popular night tours or gatherings of motor-veterans or events at the haunted castle.

The Lobkowicz Chateau in Roudnice nad Labem also starts tours on the first weekend in April. You can always look forward to tours on weekends and public holidays and you can also visit the nearby Hláska lookout tower.

Střekov Castle is already open and the ruins of Házmburk Castle continue to be open during the winter season. The Water Castle and Janda Museum in Budyně nad Ohří will also open its doors.
