The direct bus connection from Lovosice (line 662) is unfortunately only during the week and on Sundays; on Saturdays it is possible to reach Trebenice and further 3.5 km on foot, or to the Podsedice rozc. and then to Skalka on foot for 3km. By car you can reach the castle from the road I/15 Most - Lovosice, marked turn-off in Třebenice direction Teplá, Vlastislav.
By train (to Třebenice town and then 3.5km on foot) this year only seasonal rides on the so-called Plum Railway (only on weekends), but from 2020 you will find the most modern regional line in Europe.
You can also hike to Skalka from Lovosice (9km) - from the railway station follow the blue tourist trail to Vchynice, from there follow the green trail to Košt'álov Castle and then follow the red trail to Skalka.
