Visitors can see more than 1,300 animals representing more than 200 species. The Ústí Zoo also participates in the worldwide rescue of rare and endangered species. Within the framework of many international rescue programmes, it has managed to breed a number of rare animal species. The zoo has many animal pavilions, animal models and various playgrounds, a contact point with domestic animal species "Country Yard" and "Dinosaur Nature Trail".
Go see the animals at the Ústí ZOO! Regular demonstrations await you: guided seal feeding, pony rides, lemur and piranha feeding or much more. A popular means of transport is a train car and three open carriages, i.e. the zoo train, which also takes visitors to the upper part of the zoo.
The zoo offers a number of unusual experiential programs, with the choice of feeding a selected animal species or a day as a zookeeper, all through an educational program.
